Second Round Results of the NIBC Competition to be Released at
6:00 pm PST.

The 2016 National Investment Banking Conference is being held on March 23 - 24, 2016, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The event includes an investment banking case competition open to all universities.
NIBC’s objective in designing the case and competition process is to provide students with an authentic investment banking experience.
25 undergraduate teams, who advanced from the First Round earlier
in the year, competed today in the Second Round.
At 6:00 am PST the teams
received a comprehensive case package and financial model - and were given nine
hours of resolution time to analyze a realistic investment banking transaction
and prepare an oral presentation.
At 5:00 pm PST the teams were divided into pools and had a 10-minute
presentation and 10-minute Q&A session with a judging panel comprised of
junior and senior bankers. These presentations took place at the boardrooms of
sponsoring investment banks in downtown Vancouver - the judges are deliberating and will announce
who will be advancing to the Final Round of the NIBC, which will be held on March 24th.
