On Thursday, December 17, Dr. Peter DeKeyzer (BNP Paribas Chief Economist) and Christian Bartley visited Marquette and spoke to over 40 AIM and Economics students and faculty. In a previous blog we discussed DeKeyzer’s credentials and experience: .

Christian Bartley, a Marquette alumnus, is the Managing Director of Faleiro (www.faleiro.com), an international business consulting firm. Christian’s specialty is global strategy and marketing. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he has traveled the globe from Iceland to Singapore, and has lived in such places as San Juan, Warsaw, Sofia, and Paris. Formal studies include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in French from Marquette University; intensive studies at the University of Paris-Sorbonne; MS in Engineering Management and an MBA, also from Marquette.

Christian was pleased with the reception that he and Peter received while on campus. He said, “The welcome like the one we received truly epitomized what I love about Marquette University and especially about the College of Business and AIM – that not only is it a quality academic environment, but it really is Cura Personalis…and even more than that – once you are part of the Marquette (College of Business) family, you are always a part of the family.”

It was a pleasure to host Peter DeKeyzer and Christian Bartley – and the students attending the session also found it to be of great value. Christian commented, “In addition to the welcome, I have to say how impressive the students were. What an attendance for late finals week, and what intelligent questions! I could not have been more proud of my alma mater.”
